Cocoa Beach is a treasure along the SpaceCoast of Florida. Frequented my many tourists, it has a little more buzz going while still offering a laid back beach lifestyle. With the infamous Ron Jons Beach Shop & surfer legend, Kelly Slater, Cocoa Beach has made it to the spotlight. With plenty of activities from watching rocket launches or watching a boat race, there is always something to do. The library is a great way to meet people as they offer workshops and classes.
The list of beachside activities does go on and on from: surfing, kiteboarding, paddleboarding, fishing, surfing, tanning, gardening, bike riding, shopping, boating, golfing, manatee watching, public pool.. just to name a few. Downtown Cocoa Beach has plenty of art and music festivals as well as farmers markets. The Christmas boat parade and Surfing Santas are some more fun opportunites to spend with loved ones.
Some of my favorite restaraunts & bars include: The Big Kahuna, Coconuts, The Sand Bar (near the Pier), Nolans Irish Pub and the Hukerdown Hideaway for entertainment. Heidi's Jazz club is also a great venue for watching great musicians.
Want to do some bird watching? This is the place to do it. Enjoy closing out the day with a delicious sunset with loved ones in Cocoa Beach!
