There is a lot happening here and I am happy to share what I know from over a decade of living here. I am a Floridian re-transplantt from Colorado.
How is the landscaping & climate? The climate is semi-tropical and it is easy to grow beautiful gardens. Being near the ocean, it can be a bit tricky dealing with the sand, but there are plenty of natural plants that are native and thrive in this type of soil. Otherwise, your going to need a lot of potting soil if you want more variation. Take a look at this weather link for more information.
